Ryegate, VT- Eunice Elizabeth Collins, 100, died on Wednesday, September 7, 2011 at Cottage Hospital in Woodsville, NH. She was born in Hamden, CT, November 14, 1910, the daughter of Arthur W. and Mary (Quick) Thompson. Eunice married Malcolm W. Collins on July 4, 1932. She was a member of Trinity Church of the Nazarene. She loved to read her daily devotions. For many years Eunice knitted baby hats for newborns at Cottage Hospital. She enjoyed doing her handywork. She was predeceased by her husband, Malcolm W. Collins on September 25, 1989; a son, Malcolm W. Collins, Jr.; one sister and two brothers. Survivors include her son, Ronald W. Collins and wife Janet of Pike, NH; two daughters, Marilyn Henck and husband Robert of Ryegate, VT and Priscilla Horton and husband Everett of Rumford, RI; 10 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; 1 great great granddaughter; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Calling hours will be on Tuesday, September 13, from 6 to 8 PM, at Ricker Funeral Home, 1 Birch Street, Woodsville, NH. A funeral service will be on Wednesday, September 14, at 10 AM at the Trinity Church of Nazarene, 41 Nazarene Drive, North Haverhill, NH with Rev. George Hemway officiating. Burial will be on Thursday, September 15, at 1 PM at the Spring Vale Cemetery in East Providence, Rhode Island.
