East Ryegate, VT, Flora Faye Pixley, 83, died on Monday, January 9, 2012 at her residence. Flora was born in Irasburg, VT, January 12, 1928, the daughter of Floyd and Annabelle (Kettle) LaFleur. She married Earl Pixley in May 1975. Survivors include her husband of 36 years, Earl Pixley of East Ryegate; three daughters, Carolyn Thorburn of North Haverhill, NH, Gloria Robertson of Bangor, ME, and Diana Fanning of Arkansas; 14 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and several great great grandchildren. At Flora's request there will be no funeral services.
