North Haverhill, NH- Frances Dora Boyce, 90, of Cook Lane died on Monday, September 23, 2019 at her home.

Frances was born in Haverhill, NH on August 19, 1929 to Calvin and Lillian (Meader) Cushing. She worked for Burndy Corporation in North Haverhill, the Lisbon and Littleton Shoe Shops, and for Channel Mills in Bradford, VT operating the knitting machine.

Frances enjoyed animals and always had a dog for a pet.  She enjoyed watching the birds and flower gardening.  Over the years, she baked and decorated wedding cakes for many couples.

She married Wilbur E. Boyce on January 5, 1978 and he predeceased her on October 18, 2006.  She was also predeceased by a daughter, Linda Farley on August 10, 2002; a son, Gerald Boyce on April 26, 2009; two sisters, Blanche Vielleux on June 18, 2015 and Betty Martin; and a brother, Calvin Cushing on May 9, 2019.

She is survived by a son, Larry K. Boyce of East Ryegate, VT; two daughters, Brenda Boyce of Wells River, VT and Joy George of North Haverhill; 18 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and several great great grandchildren; along with nieces, nephews, and cousins.

There will be no calling hours.

A graveside service will be on Saturday, October 5 ^th at 2 PM, in the Boltonville Cemetery, Wells River, with Melissa Gould, Funeral Celebrant, leading the service.
