Groton, VT- Francis Henry Frog Sanville, 80, of Cochran Road, died on Saturday, February 14, 2015, at the Berlin Health and Rehabilitation Center in Berlin, VT. Francis was born in Craftsbury, VT, February 4, 1934, the son of Vylain and Florence (Coburn) Sanville. On June 20, 1957, he married Charlotte Ashford. He worked for 40 plus years in the granite industry, working mainly for Consolidated Memorials in Barre, VT. After working in the granite industry he worked for Gordon Phelps doing carpentry work. He also had maintained his electrical license for many years. Francis enjoyed hunting in the past and also cutting firewood with his son Jake. He was predeceased by a daughter-in-law, Kelley Sanville on September 24, 2011. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Charlotte Sanville of Groton; a son, Arnold Jake Sanville of Groton; a brother, Henry Sanville and wife Connie of Haverhill, NH; a nephew; along with several-in-laws and their families. There will be no calling hours. A graveside service is being planned for this spring in the Groton Village Cemetery.
