Fairlee, VT Franklin Thomas Wilkes, 57, died December 19, 2010, at a residential care home where he had been a resident for the past three months. He was born in Hot Springs, SD, January 21, 1953, and served in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam War from September 1970 until his honorable discharge in September 1973. For many years he resided on the west coast and more recently lived Ossipee, NH and North Haverhill for the past four years. Franklin loved cooking and his faithful companion Red , a golden retriever. At Franklin s request there will be no services.
