Bath, NH- George Allen Towle, Jr., 58, of Cemetery Road, died unexpectedly from complication of COPD, at his home on Sunday, May 5, 2019.

George was born in Littleton, NH on September 3, 1960, to Merton and Margaret (Richards) Tewksbury.  He was a self-employed carpenter and handyman.

George enjoyed fishing, camping, tubing, picking fiddleheads, tinkering, listening to music, and tending his strawberry beds.  He loved spending time with his grandchildren.  He loved working with his son, Dustin, on his race car and attended Dustin's first race at Bear Ridge Speedway this past Saturday night.

He is survived by his companion Julie Roy of Woodsville, NH; four children, Joseph Allen Towle and companion Lexy of North Haverhill, NH, Amber Leigh Towle and companion Cyle of West Fairlee, VT, Dustin James Towle and wife Mary B. of East Corinth, VT, and Crystal Lynn Towle and companion Swain of Woodsville; six grandchildren, Anika, Aiden, Curtis, Nora, Jacob, and Natalie; three sisters, Cynthia White, Teresa Peterson and husband Jon, and Saralee Tewksbury and Jody Royston, all of Bath; along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Along with his parents, he was also predeceased by a grandson, James.

Calling hours will be on Thursday, May 9 ^th from 6-8 PM at Ricker Funeral Home, 1 Birch Street,Woodsville.

A gathering of family and friends will be on Friday, May 10 ^th at noon at George's home, 208 Cemetery Road, Bath.

Burial will be private.
