Pike, NH – Georgia L. Swanson, 95, formerly of North Apollo, PA, passed away peacefully on May 1, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Parks, Armstrong County, PA, on October 16, 1928.

She was the daughter of the late George and Olive Baustert. She was preceded in death by her husband Maurice "Bob" Swanson, her daughter Sandra Ablog of New London, CT, and her sisters Arlene Anderson and Margorie Walker. She is survived by her children; Nancy (Clif) Martelle of Groton, CT, James (Sandy) Gearhart of Gwinn, MI, Georgia Carol (Mike) Penkert of Pike, NH, and John (Nancy) Gearhart of Lower Burrell, PA; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, and two nieces.

Georgia was full of life. She neither looked, nor acted like she was 95. She loved to travel, play bingo and go to the casino. She found most joy in spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She always looked forward to the holidays, so she could be with her family.

Georgia resided with her daughter Carol and husband Mike for the past 15 years where she spent many happy years. She truly enjoyed life to its fullest.

She will be remembered as a loving and devoted mother, wife and grandmother who always took a loving interest in her family.

A private internment, next to her husband Bob, will be at Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell, PA.
