Bath, NH-  Gerald Grady Bayette, 50, of Monroe Road, died unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, December 27, 2017.

Gerald was born in Torrington, CT on January 11, 1967, to Robert and Rita (Menegus) Bayette.  He moved from Connecticut to New Hampshire in the summer of 1997.

Over the years, Gerald worked as an instructional assistant at Woodsville (NH) Elementary School and in the housekeeping departments at both Cottage Hospital in Woodsville and St. Johnsbury Health and Rehab in St. Johnsbury, VT.

Gerald enjoyed being with people and getting to know them.  He was a wonderful conversationalist who enjoyed helping others.  In his spare time, he liked doing yard work, mowing, and gardening.  He especially loved his Rottweilers and cared for many foster dogs.

He is survived by his husband, Joshua A. Wozny, to whom he was married on September 18, 2010; his mother, Rita Bayette of Torrington, CT; two sisters, Ann Peters-Grohs and husband Jim Grohs of Harwinton, CT and Chris Moscarillo and her partner, Thomas Villanova of New Hartford, CT; two brothers, Robert Bayette, Jr. also of Harwinton and James Bayette; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.

He was predeceased by his father, Robert Bayette.

A memorial celebration will be on Saturday, January 13, at 11 AM at the John A. Bagonzi Community Building, 9 High Street, Woodsville, NH.
