Gilman "Gilly" Joseph Bossie, of Lincoln, NH, passed away on Thursday, October 5th, 2023, at home surrounded by his family. He was two days away from celebrating his 91st birthday.

Gilman was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church and had belonged to the Knights of Columbus. He was an Airman 1st class in the US Air Force serving during the Korean War. In his lifetime of 91 years, he wore many hats: part time police officer, volunteer fireman, a machinist for the Parker Young Paper Mill, a machinist for Anheuser Busch, he owned and operated a restaurant and then a pub, was a chef at Woodward's Motor Inn, he worked maintenance for the Mill House Inn, and worked as a carpenter for his brother-in-law, Wayne Tetley.

Gilman was predeceased by his wife, Celia, along with his brothers, Louis and Richard.

He leaves behind his daughter, Julie Rand, and husband, Paul, and their daughters, Tiffany Sothard and fiancé Josh Meier, Heather Rand, and Lindsey Kirkpatrick and fiancé, Erik Partlow; his daughter, Anne Dovholuk and husband Michael and their daughter, Gwendolyn Dovholuk and their son, Matthew Dovholuk, and wife Heather; his son, Glenn Bossie, and wife Susan and their children, Glenn Bossie II, Hannah Bossie, and Julia Bossie; and son, Joseph Bossie and wife Faith and their children, Ashley Bossie, Joseph Bossie Jr., Grant Clark and Liam Clark. Gilman leaves behind 10 great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind a sister, Doris Tetley.

There will be a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday October 27, 2023, at 11 AM at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Lincoln, NH, interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Lincoln.
