Pike, NH Hazel Mae Joslin, 91, died on Friday, February 10, 2012 at the Grafton County Nursing Home in North Haverhill, NH. She was born in Woodsville, NH, October 12, 1920, the daughter of John Murdock and Bernice (White) Conrad, Sr. Hazel was a member of the First Congregational Church of Haverhill UCC and sang for many years in the church choir. She was a member of the Women s Fellowship Home Extension and the Treasurer of the Pike Library. Hazel loved birds, flowers, nature, and dogs. She will be fondly remembered for her holiday cookies, special birthday cakes, and special occasion cards. She was an avid reader who was especially fond of historical novels and poetry. Hazel was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Hazel married Bernard A. John Joslin on May 16, 1945 and he predeceased her on February 28, 2006. She was also predeceased by a son, Alan Joslin; two sisters, Katherine Conrad and Virginia Bertram; and three brothers, Adrian Conrad, John M. Conrad, Jr. and Franklin Conrad. Survivors include a daughter, Anne E. Johnson and husband Peter of Lebanon, NH; a son, David P. Joslin and wife Kelly of North Haverhill, NH; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren; a sister, Connie Ciresoli of Beverly Hills, FL; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. There will be no calling hours. A memorial service will be on Saturday, June 23, at 11 AM, at the First Congregational Church of Haverhill, UCC, 122 Church Street, Haverhill, NH. Burial will follow at the Ladd Street Cemetery in Haverhill.
