Ryegate, VT-  Howard Kenneth Page, 72, of East Road, died at his home on Thursday, March 12, 2020.
Howard was born in Haverhill, NH on October 12, 1947 to Forrest and Iona Thurley (Gray) Page.  He was a graduate of Groton High School, Class of 1965.  On March 26, 1966, he married Patricia "Patty" Anne Lakin.

Howard was the owner and operator of the family dairy farm, Page View Farm, raising registered Holsteins.  Following the sale of the farm, he worked as a ranger at Stillwater Park in Groton, VT for over 16 years.

As a boy, he loved getting into trouble with his brothers.  Along with farming, Howard loved taking care of his lawn and keeping his truck clean.  A man of few words, he and Patty sometimes enjoyed just sitting in the garage, watching traffic go by while listening to country music.  He loved his family, especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of nearly 54 years, Patty Page of Ryegate; a daughter, Debra G. Thresher and husband Allen, Jr. of Peacham, VT; a son, Christopher H. Page of Williston, VT; three grandchildren, David A. Hart, Jr. and fiancé` Wendy, Erica L. Hart, and Cole C. Page; three great grandchildren; a sister in law, Sue Page of Idaho; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and his dog, Taz.

He was predeceased by his mother, Iona Page on April 15, 1993; his father, Forrest Page on December 16, 2002; and his three brothers, Carwin F. Page on April 8, 2009, Gordon W. Page on March 12, 2019, and Donald R. Page on March 8, 2012.

There are no public services being planned.

Burial in Groton Village Cemetery will be in the spring at the convenience of Howard's family.
