Obituary

Pike, NH- Iola G. Dickinson Beauchene, 95, of Dickinson Road, died on Tuesday, May 1, 2018, at her home, surrounded by her family.

Iola was born in Hardwick, VT on August 16, 1922, to Stanley and Alfreda (Hamilton) Gould.

In her spare time, Iola enjoyed quilting, crocheting, and painting.  She loved the outdoors, particularly fishing, gardening, camping, and digging dandelions.  Iola was a LNA at Grafton County Nursing home in North Haverhill for many years.  She was a member of the Grange in Pike, the Pythian Sisters in Warren, NH, and a life member of VFW Auxiliary Post #5245 of North Haverhill, NH.

She married Bertrum Dickinson in 1939 and he predeceased her in 1962.  She is also predeceased by a sister, two brothers, and two grandchildren, Sherry McClure and Kenny Langille.

She is survived by two daughters, Wanda Fiano and husband Francis and Terriann Begin, both of Pike; three grandchildren, Lisa Adams and husband Mark, Jennifer Hatch and husband Keith, and Mark Begin; several great and great-great grandchildren; along with nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Services are being planned for later this summer.

Iola's family would like to thank North County Home Health and Hospice, especially Joan Emerson, for their care, support, and compassion.
