James Willard Gowen Sr. "Jim," 66 of Wentworth, NH, passed away on Saturday, March 19, 2022, with his family by his side.  He was born to Willard C and Elsie M (Hoyt) Gowen on July 26th, 1955 in Amesbury, MA.  He resided in Amesbury Massachusetts until adolescence before moving to Wentworth where he lived the remainder of his life. He graduated from Plymouth High School in 1973. After graduating he went to be the co-owner of New England excavation. He worked at King Forest industries for more than 25 years. Jim served his community as a selectman for the town of Wentworth, as an E.M.T and with the NH Army National Guard.  In his free time, he enjoyed hunting, snowmobiling, and riding his Harley.  He loved his canine best friends.

James is survived by his wife Kathleen A Gowen, two sons, James W Gowen Jr & Christopher R Gowen, his father Willard C. Gowen, a brother Richard T. Gowen, stepchildren Shannon D Mace, Shane M Adams, and Stacy L Toomey, eleven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and five nieces and nephews.  He is predeceased by his Mother Elsie M Gowen, and a sister Kathryn M Gowen.

Per Jim's request there will be no services at this time.  May he rest in peace, he will be missed forever!
