Woodsville, NH James Harry Smith, 78, formerly of 15 Elm Street, died August 30, 2008, at the Grafton County Nursing Home in North Haverhill, NH. He was born in Boston, MA, August 27, 1930, a son of Howard and Gladys Irene (Douse) Smith. Mr. Smith spent his career serving with the U. S. Navy. Survivors include two daughters Pamela Boudah of Oakdale, CT, and Kimberly Warehime of St. Johns, WA; four grandchildren and one great grandchild; a sister Mary Hesseltine of Woodsville; two brother Francis Smith and wife Jackie of Canaan, NH and Paul Smith of Bridgewater, MA; along with several nieces and nephews. At Mr. Smith s request there will be no calling hours or funeral services. Memorial contributions can be made to the Upper Valley Humane Society, 300 Old Route 10, Enfield, NH 03748.
