Bradford, VT - James Wilson "Jimmy" Keith, 66, of Fairground Road, died Tuesday, September 8, 2015, at home following an extended illness. He was born in Haverhill, NH, June 5, 1949, a son of Wilson W. and Virginia L. (Clough) Keith. Jimmy graduated from Woodsville High School, class of 1967. He worked many years for Gandin Brothers Monument Company in South Ryegate, VT in the shipping and stone preparation room. He loved playing baseball and assisting Dr. John Bagonzi at baseball clinics. For many years he played with the Vermont Orioles a Vermont Senior Baseball League. Another passion in his life was fly fishing. In 2009, Jimmy and his two sons, Nathan and Tyler went on a trip of a life time to Alaska to fly fish. He also enjoyed hunting and his yearly hunting trip in November to Maine with his two sons. Jimmy could be seen taking rides on the backroads of Vermont and New Hampshire. Jimmy loved going to Patriots Day at Fenway Park cheering on the Boston Red Sox with his children and his companion Sarah. He also loved watching all the New England Sports Teams. Jimmy cherished time spent with his family and friends. He was predeceased by his father, Wilson W. Keith on January 29, 1966, his mother Virginia L. (Clough) Keith on July 4, 2007; two brothers, Dean on December 3, 1953 and Joseph on October 23, 1975; a nephew, Michael Williams on November 1, 2006. Surviving family members include five children, Nathan J. Keith and wife Kristen of Falmouth, MA, Leslie R. Keith of Woodsville, Alicia S. Keith and fiancé Derek Graham of North Haverhill, Tyler W. Keith of Woodsville and Ashley R. Keith of Woodsville; a granddaughter, Charlotte Keith; three sisters, Sharon Sanborn and husband Guy of Wentworth, NH, Mary Thompson and husband Ted of Killen, AL, and Darlene Williams and husband Robert of Newbury, VT; a brother, Michael Keith of Ocala, FL; his companion, Sarah MacDonald of Bradford, VT and her daughter, Hannah Egan and husband Dan of Corinth, VT; along with several nieces, nephews and cousins. A gathering of remembrance for family and friends will be on Sunday, September 13, beginning at 12 PM. A time of sharing and storytelling will begin at 1:30 PM at the Graham residence, 43 Briar Hill Road, Woodsville, NH. A private burial in the family lot will be in Horse Meadow Cemetery, North Haverhill.
