Warren, NH- Jane Ellen Whitcher, 79, of Route 25, died at her home on Tuesday, June 22, 2021.

Jane was born in Winooski, VT on December 31, 1941 to Wright and Alid (Bixby) Towers. She graduated from Woodsville High School, Class of 1959.  She worked as a beautician for Chase's Beauty-Rama in Woodsville, then assisted Bud at his accounting firm.

She was a former member of the Woodsville United Methodist Church and belonged to the Warren United Methodist Church.  Jane was also active in the Pythian Sisters in Warren, was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Orford, NH, and belonged to the North East Corvette Club.

She married Floyd D. "Bud" Chase in 1965 and he predeceased her on February 21, 1988; she was also predeceased by her son, Todd Hicks on July 3, 2005; and her brother, Robert Towers on August 10, 2018.

She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Randy Whitcher of Warren, to whom she was married on April 30, 1993; three grandchildren; three sisters, Judy Roystan and husband Robert of Bath, NH, Kay Stevenson and husband Bruce of Columbus, OH, and Paula Haney of Orlando, FL; one brother, David Towers and wife Maretta of Alburgh, VT; and a sister in law, Carolyn of Columbus, OH; along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

At Jane's request, there will be no public services.
