Jason
Emerson
March 17, 2024
Topsham, VT - Jason Paul Emerson, 47, passed away after an illness on March 17, 2024, with family by his side at Dartmouth Medical Center.
Jason was born July 19, 1976, to Deanne (Roy) Emerson and John Emerson. He started his life in Newbury, VT, and later moved to Topsham as a teen when his family moved. He is a graduate of Blue Mountain Union School.
Jason was very intelligent; he did attend some college classes but was regretful he never obtained a degree. He was super smart when it came to computers. He was happy when he found a passion for cooking; for many years you could find him not only giving warm food to his customers at P&H, but also his warm smile and a funny story or two. He was friendly and loved to joke around with his family and friends. He was a very good cook and had also worked at the Hungry Bear and Mini Mart in Bradford.
The number one love in his life was his animals, his dog baby who we can only hope is waiting at heaven's door to welcome him home, and his numerous cats at home who will miss him dearly.
Jason enjoyed hunting and fishing in his younger years. Before his passing, he could be found spending most of his time with his cats and playing around on his CB radio.
Jason was predeceased by his father John Emerson, his brother Darren Emerson, his Uncle Tony York, his grandparents on both sides, and many uncles, aunts, and cousins.
He is survived by his mother Deanne Emerson of Groton; his sister Cindy Emerson of Maine; sister Anita Glass (Dennis Glass) of Texas; brother Brian Emerson (Trista Burns) of Wells River, VT; sister Rose Burnett (Alvin Burnett) of South Ryegate, VT; sister Sandra Wagner (Glenn Wagner) of Monroe, NH; sister Wanda Laflamme (Rob Laflamme) of Topsham, VT; brother Dennis Emerson (Michele Emerson) of Topsham, VT; brother Adam Emerson (Emily Emerson) of South Ryegate, VT; many nieces and nephews, and Aunt Pam York of Gilman, VT.
Our family would like to thank the staff at both Central Vermont Hospital ER and Dartmouth Medical Center for their efforts in his care.
Because of Jason's love for animals, instead of flowers, please consider a donation in his name to help fund pets in need when people can't afford to pay.
