Jean Buell, 80, North Haverhill, NH, was called by GOD and persuaded by Ralph with a strong strawberry Daiquiri to depart this world after a long battle with cancer. Jean left while surrounded by her loved ones on May 20, 2021.

Jean was born in Newark, NJ on Feb 2, 1941 and was married to husband Ralph S. Buell until his death in 2001.  Jean is survived by three children: a daughter Karan L. Lyons & Robert Lyons of North Haverhill, a son Donald J. Buell & Cynthia L. Buell of Sterling, CT, and a daughter Janice A. Buell also of North Haverhill.  She is also survived by four grandchildren and nine great grandchildren who know her only as "GiGi."  Jean also has a brother William Roche of Billings, MT.

After graduating from Guilford High School in 1959, Jean entered the Yale New Haven Nursing program but ultimately became a proud military wife.  Jean raised three children between Westbrook CT, Chester CT, and settled in North Haverhill. When in Westbrook, Jean was a Girl Scout Leader. When in Chester, Jean was the proud owner of the Snack Shack located on Ceder Lake, a bus driver and worked at the Chester Bank.  She was also a member of The Chester Fife and Drum Corps and known as a local artist.   While in North Haverhill, she spent the later parts of her life belonging to the Eastern Star, was Past President of the American Legion Auxiliary, and enjoyed her own business known as "Dolls and Stuff."

Jean enjoyed game night with the family, the family campsite, barbequing, long rides, babysitting her grand dog, Murphy, and spending evenings with her cat, Mandy.  Jean also had many grand dogs and grand cats.
