Piermont, NH- Jeanne Alice French, 74, of Piermont, died on Friday, June 25, 2021, at the Lebanon Center with family by her side.

Jeanne was born on April 25, 1947, in Newburyport, MA to Ernest and Yvonne (Roberts) Emond. She was a graduate of Amesbury High School, Class of 1965.

On August 6, 1994, she married the love of her life, James Edward French. She was a member of the Acres of Hope Christian Fellowship.

In her free time Jeanne enjoyed music and playing instruments. She attended many concerts and musicals. She loved spending time with her family and having cookouts and campfires with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of 27 years, James Edward French; a daughter Melissa Tremblay of Plainville, MA; two step sons, Brian French and wife Kathy of MT, and Eric French of MT; two step daughters, Lisa Clark and husband Brian of Meriden, NH, Sarah Ward and husband Scott of Williston, VT; a brother, Richard Emond of Amesbury, MA; three sisters, Simone Cartier of Merrimac, MA, Georgette Fushpanski and husband Stanley of Salisbury, MA, Dianne Bryant and husband David of O'Brien, FL; two grandchildren, 9 step grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A Celebration of Jeanne's Life will be on Thursday, July 1, 2021, at 1PM at Ricker Funeral Home and Cremation Care of Woodsville, followed by a time of sharing and fellowship.  Interment will be at the convenience of the family at the Clay Hollow Cemetery in Piermont.
