Haverhill, NH – Jeannette Alice Marie Lund, 84, died Tuesday, April 4, 2017, at the Courville at Manchester Nursing Home, following an extended illness.

She was born in Pawtucket, RI, July 5, 1932, a daughter of George S. Dupuis and Jeannette Alice (Vandal) Dupuis.  Jeannette was a long time resident of Haverhill before leaving the area to live closer to family in southern New Hampshire.  While in Haverhill, she was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Woodsville. She provided many hours of volunteer service to the Woodsville Elementary School, where she was affectionately known to the students as "Grammie Lund".   She also volunteered many hours to the residents of the Grafton County Nursing Home, North Haverhill.

Jeannette married James F. Lund on September 6, 1954 and he predeceased her on May 23, 2007, and was also predeceased by a son, George K. Lund in 1992.

Surviving family members include six children, James C. of Merrimack, NH, Thomas of St. Petersburg, FL, Louis of Nashua, Arthur of Tampa, FL, Charmaine Warren of Louisville, KY and Mary Bowen of New Boston, NH; twelve grandchildren; several great grandchildren; a sister, Elaine Feighery of Seekonk, MA; along with niece, nephews,  and cousins.

Calling hours will be on Monday, April 10th, from 12 noon to 1:30 PM at Ricker Funeral Home, 1 Birch Street, Woodsville, NH.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, at 2 PM, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 15 Pine Street, Woodsville, with Father Alan Tremblay officiating.

Burial in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Bath, NH, will be at a later date.
