Jenifer Lee
Horne
December 30, 2023
Black Mountain, NC – Jenifer Lee Horne, 39, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, December 30, 2023, in North Carolina.
Jenifer was born July 26, 1984, in Woodsville, NH to her parents Mary Horne and Duane Perry. She attended Oxbow High School where she had many friends. She was very passionate about animals and didn't like to see them suffer. Jenifer loved the outdoors, she loved camping, fishing, and hiking. She also loved tubing down the river and listening to really loud music. As a child she always talked about seeing the countryside.
At the age of 18, she started on her adventure, living life to the fullest. At the age of 20, while living in Florida, she ended up in a coma due to carbon dioxide poisoning. Beating all the odds, she survived. Having to learn how to do everything all over again, from walking to eating.
Jenifer was predeceased by her sister, Tara, her father Duane, her great grandparents Vance and Mary Rogers, grandfather Bill Horne, and grandfather Duane Perry.
She leaves behind her partner of 10 years, Steve Vitelli, and her cat Jasmine; her mother Mary Horne and partner David Bone; her siblings, Sabrina Farnham, Jason Brown, Samantha Brown and fiancé Brian Bedell and their son Kai, Angie Perry, Nicolas Perry, and Christopher Perry; her grandmother Jeannie Horne; grandmother Patricia Perry; Aunt Belinda Lees and husband Wayne; Uncle Bill Horne and partner Hope; Uncle Richard Horne and partner Carol; Aunt Betty and husband Alan Lamarre; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A celebration of life will be held in the summer by her family.
