Rumney, NH Josephine Ann (White) Reed, 75, died unexpectedly on Friday, January 2, 2015, at her home. Josephine was born in Groton, NH, July 15, 1939, the daughter of Fred and Cynthia (White) Herd. She graduated from Plymouth High School. Josephine married Raymond E. Reed, Jr. on August 10, 1957. She was a seamstress by trade, working at the Calico Cupboard in Rumney for many years and also a quilting and sewing business out of her home. Josephine and her husband Raymond were charter members of Baker River Bible Church in Wentworth. She enjoyed traveling and attending Blue Grass Festivals with her husband. She was predeceased by her husband of 51 years, Raymond E. Reed, Jr. on December 23, 2008. Survivors include her two sons, Robin Reed and wife Cindy of Rumney, NH and Arthur White and wife Melissa of Rochester, NH; four grandchildren, Robert Reed, Crystal LaPolla, Casandra White, and Laura Smith; two great grandson, Collin Roberts and Jayden Reed; three sisters, Mary Smith of Plymouth, NH, June Ewens of New Hampton, NH, and Pauline Mae Woodward of Brandon, VT; and several nieces and nephews. There will be no calling hours. A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 9, at 10 AM, at the Baker River Bible Church, Wentworth, NH with Pastor Bruce Michaud officiating. Burial will be on Monday, May 18, at 10 AM in the Pleasant View Cemetery, West Rumney, NH. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to either the Baker River Bible Church, 1251 Mt.
