Joyce June

April 25, 2019
Barnet, VT- Joyce June Brill, 88, daughter of Charles Marshall and Anna Mary (Curtis) Mosher, passed away following a period of declining health on Thursday, April 25, 2019 at St. Johnsbury (VT) Health & Rehabilitation Center.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother, neighbor and friend.
Joyce lived her entire life in Barnet. She graduated with honors from both McIndoe Falls Academy in 1948 and later in life from Johnson State College. She served a 25 year career with St. Johnsbury Mental Health with 12 of those years spent doing patient care in her home.
Among Joyce's many jobs were driving for RCT, tutoring people for the GED, making wreaths, sewing shoes, working in the school cafeteria, driving school bus, and doing respite care. She was a member of the Lion's Club, the East Peacham Baptist Church ladies Group, and the McIndoe Alumni Association.
She was an avid sports fan and loved the Boston Red Sox, the New England Patriots, and Tony Stewart. Joyce liked digging for bottles, picking berries, "hooking" apples, and cooking for her family. She will be remembered for her delicious donuts and tasty desserts. She loved playing card games and board games and was very competitive. She enjoyed feeding and watching the birds and other wildlife from her kitchen windows, tasting the first warm syrup of the season, admiring her flowers in her many beds. One of her greatest sources of pride was having done renovations at her home along with her family. Joyce cherished the holidays, family gatherings, and never missed an occasion to join them for birthdays, graduations, and weddings. Most importantly, Joyce's door was always open and she cared for her sister's children after her death at an early age.

Crane; daughter, Susan Robinson; three sisters, Anita Mosher Cushman, Shirley Mosher, and Irene Mosher Blood; and two brothers, Alvin "Chuck" Mosher and Earl "Yogi" Mosher; a daughter in law, Jody Crane; son in law, Carl Foss; and granddaughter, Margaret Beth Crane, and a sister in law Alice Mosher.
