Bath, NH- Judith Marie Nelson Paye, 76, of Wild Ammonoosuc Road, died on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at her home.

Judith was born on May 24, 1944 in Hanover, NH to Harley and Sylvia (Holt) Nelson.

She married John Paye on May 4, 1963 and together they had two children, David and Daneen.

For eleven years they owned and operated Birchwood Motor Inn, Wells River when they sold the business in 2006.

Over the years Judith enjoyed playing cribbage, slivets, and dice games. She always had a good sense of humor and enjoyed traveling to Florida during New Hampshire's winter months for over twelve years.

She is predeceased by her loving husband, John Paye; grand daughter, Jasmine Paye as well as her sisters, Shirley Paquette, Ramona Fisher and Charlotte Roystan.

She is survived by her brother, Harley R. Nelson of South Carolina; a sister, Ruth Blake of Pike, NH; a son, David Paye and wife Beth of East Ryegate, VT; a daughter, Daneen Remy and husband John of Bath, NH; six grandchildren, Joseph Paye and Felica,  Katelyn Craig, Haley Craig and Kayla St.Germain and Lacey Paye; four great grandchildren, Cayden Pike, John E. Paye, Toby Magoon and Jamesin F. Paye; a loving pet, Midnight Moon; and many nieces, nephews & cousins.

A service for Judith will be held in the spring time.
