Obituary

North Haverhill, NH - June Roberta Chamberlin, 86, died on Friday, November 8, 2013 at the Grafton County Nursing Home, North Haverhill, NH. She was born in East Ryegate, VT, May 24, 1927, the daughter of Jay I. and Eva (Wallace) Chamberlin. June graduated from Woodsville High School, class of 1944 and went on to graduate from Becker Junior College, Worcester, MA class of 1946. She worked for the Grafton County Farm Bureau, Woodsville, NH, and later moved to the Boston area in 1949. June worked at Harvard University for over 25 years, and retired from the Fiduciary Trust in Boston. She enjoyed reading, the Red Sox, traveling, visiting the ocean, music, plays and especially spending time with her nephews and nieces. June was an active member and volunteer of the Newton Presbyterian Church, Newton, MA. She was predeceased by three sisters, Edith (Chamberlin) Crawford, Grace (Chamberlin) Keenan and Joyce Chamberlin; and a nephew, Kevin Crawford. Survivors include nieces and nephews, Donald Crawford, St. Augustine, FL, Diane (Crawford) McCarthy, Waltham, MA, Paul Keenan and Robert Keenan, East Ryegate, VT, and Alice (Keenan) Frazer, Monroe, NH; several great and great great nieces and nephews. There will be no calling hours. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2013, at 11 AM at Ricker Funeral Home, 1 Birch Street, Woodsville, NH, with Rev. Dr. Howard Gaston officiating. Burial will be in the family lot in McIndoe Falls Cemetery. June s family would like to offer a special Thank You to the caregivers at Grafton County Nursing Home for the dedicated and loving care she received while a resident.
