Waterford, VT – Kathryne Anne Gilmour, 69, died at her home in Waterford, VT.  She was born on June 30th, 1947 in Haverhill, NH to John and Edna (Smith) Hatley.  After graduating from McIndoe Falls Academy in 1965, she lived and raised a loving family in the Northeast Kingdom.  Kathryne had a life-long passion for bowling and competed in numerous tournaments throughout the country.  Later in life, she became a dedicated member of the St. Johnsbury Moose Lodge.  Sadly, she was predeceased by her son, Frederick "Boo" Gilmour on August 19, 2011.  Survivors include two sons, John Gilmour and wife Jacqueline of Barnet, VT and Douglas Gilmour and wife Joelle of Warwick, NY; her former husband, Doug Gilmour of McIndoe Falls; a daughter-in-law, Desiree Gilmour of Lyndonville, VT; nine grandchildren, John's children, John Jr. and Garrett; Doug's children, Liam and Graham; and Fred's children, John, Joseph, James, Jack and Amelia; four great grandchildren; two sisters, Theresa Cooper and Sandy Hatley of McIndoe Falls; a brother, John Hatley and wife Julie of Monroe; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

There will be no calling hours.

A graveside service will be on Saturday, May 20th, at 2pm, at the Monroe Village Cemetery, Plains Road, Monroe, NH.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice.
