Fairlee, VT- Keith Royal "Goose" Hill, 69, formerly of Groton, VT, died Monday, March 31, 2014 at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH.
Keith was born on March 9, 1945, in Hanover, NH, the son of Royal and Margerite (Preston) Hill. He married Patricia LeCour on October 12, 1968. For many years Keith worked side by side with his brother Logging with horses. He also worked for several area sawmills and for the Topsham Highway Department for many years. Keith looked forward every year to attending the country fairs in the area and watching the horse pulling competitions. He had a passion for tractor trailers and was always stopping to admire them.

Keith was predeceased by his wife, Patricia (LeCour) Hill on February 28, 1996; a grandson, Taylor J. Hill on October 14, 2011; a sister, Judith Hill; and a brother-in-law, Mark Stewart.

Survivors include two daughters, Brenda L. Hill of Bradford, VT and Danielle L. Hill of Rhode Island; two sons, Kevin A. Hill of Bradford, VT and Brian K. Hill and wife Lisa of Groton, VT; 4 granddaughters and 3 grandsons; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family in the Groton Village Cemetery.
