Obituary

Keith A. Trombley, 25, of Nashua, NH passed away on Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center. Keith was born in Manchester, NH, the son of Lindsay F. (Klark) Trombley and the late Alfred H. Trombley, Jr. of Candia. Keith attended schools in Candia and Manchester, graduating from Central High School. He excelled in academics and sports, and was an active member of the marching band. He graduated from NH Technical Institute with an Associate's Degree in Criminal Justice, as a member of Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society. While at NHTI, Keith was presented the Jeremy T. Charron Award for Outstanding Performance as a Criminal Justice Major. One of the highlights of Keith's time at NHTI was playing on the championship baseball team. He then entered the 155th NH Police Academy, where he graduated with distinction as the recipient of the Arthur D. Kehas Outstanding Achiever Award, which honored the overall best-performing recruit for outstanding academics, physical fitness and firearms training. He continued his education while working and recently received a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Granite State College. Keith was a member of the Nashua Police Department, having served for two and a half years. He was also a member of the Nashua Police Honor Guard. He was fond of dogs and volunteered to assist the K9 Unit with training exercises when needed. Keith previously served on the Hollis Police Department. Keith's energy was boundless. He loved baseball and enjoyed the challenge of participating in various sports and other activities in his off-time including softball, basketball, golf, cycling, skiing, snowmobiling, skydiving, yoga and motorcycle riding. Keith had a quiet faith and was a beloved son of God. He volunteered much of his time to Special Olympics NH, in addition to other organizations. Keith was always willing to give of himself to others in need. He was loved without measure as our son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend. He is survived by his mother, Lindsay F. Trombley, sister, Theresa F. Trombley, and paternal grandmother Shirley G. Trombley, all of Candia, his maternal grandmother, Thelma B. Klark of North Haverhill, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his father, Alfred H. Trombley, Jr. on Oct. 18, 2013. Also predeceasing him were his paternal grandfather Alfred H. Trombley, Sr. and maternal grandfather Winthrop W. Klark. Calling hours will be from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm at Manchester Christian Church, 1308 Wellington Rd., Manchester, NH on Wednesday, May 13, 2015 with a memorial service to follow at 2:00 pm at the church. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Keith's memory to the Keith Trombley Memorial Fund c/o the Nashua Police Relief Association, P.O.
