Washington, VT-  Kendall George Fiske, 86, of Lindsay Lane, went home to be with the Lord following a period of failing health, on Friday, January 5, 2018, at Central Vermont Hospital, Berlin, VT.

Kendall was born in Newbury, VT, on February 26, 1931, to George and Lillian (Appleton) Fiske.  He graduated from the Wells River (VT) High School, Class of 1949.  On August 1, 1958, he married Kathleen Towle.

Kendall was a dairy and poultry farmer at the George C.A. Fiske and Sons Farm in Newbury.  Later he was a truck driver and sold farm machinery for Fiske Sales and Service in South Ryegate, VT.  He continued working as owner of Fiske-Murray Transport and in the grain business before working for Scott's Construction in Newport, VT.

Kendall was proud to be a saved, born-again Christian, since 1958.  He was a former member of the First Baptist Church of Groton.  A family man, Kendall enjoyed hunting at the family deer camp in Topsham, VT and fishing trips to Canada.  He also played the harmonica.

He was predeceased by a brother, Kenneth H. "Chud" Fiske on November 9, 1996.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Kathleen "Kathy" Fiske of Washington; two daughters, Caren Murray of Washington and Jackie Carey and husband Mike of Barre, VT; three grandchildren, Greg Murray and fiancé Ashley, Jaime Murray, and Brad Carey and wife Becky; three great grandchildren, Savannah, Shawn, and Kendall; and nieces and nephews.

There will be an hour of calling time from 11-12 PM on Thursday, January 11th, at Ricker Funeral Home, 1 Birch Street, Woodsville, NH,  with a funeral service conducted by his nephew, Dan Fiske, immediately following at noon.

Burial will be in the spring, at the convenience of the family in Pinehurst Cemetery.
