Peacham, VT-  Kenneth Edward Dow, 65, died unexpectedly on October 13, 2018, at his home.

Ken was born on September 19, 1953, in Waterville, ME, to Carlton and Alice (Gooding) Dow.

For many years, Ken worked as an optician in both Vermont and Maine.  In 2013, he retired to West Barnet and last year he moved to Peacham.  He spent the last few years working at the Barnet Transfer Station visiting all the local folks each Saturday…a job he loved to do.

Ken is predeceased by his parents Carlton and Alice Dow.

He is survived by his sister, Susan Roberts and husband Maurice of West Barnet; his niece, Jennifer Roberts Ullrich and husband John and their son Connor of Barton, VT; and his nephew, Jeffrey Roberts and wife Billy Jo and their children Jacob and Molly of West Barnet.

In keeping with Ken's wishes, there will be no services.
