Kenneth McLeod, aged 59, of West Barnet, VT, passed away on December 13, 1983, at the White River Junction VA. Born on June 6, 1924, in Cambridge, MA, he was the son of Malcom McLeod and Ethel (Penney) McLeod. Kenneth was a dedicated elder of the First Presbyterian Church of West Barnet, VT, and played a key role in establishing the Senior Citizens Meals on Wheels in West Barnet. He honorably served in the Army during WWII and later worked as a claims clerk for St. Johnsbury trucking.
He is survived by his loving wife, Marjorie McLeod, his son Brian McLeod, and his daughter Pamela Smith and her husband Brent. He also leaves behind three grandsons, Adam, Joshua, and Aaron, two granddaughters, Jessica and Stephanie, and two brothers, M. Ross McLeod and his wife Evelyn, and Fred McLeod and his wife Peg. Kenneth was cherished by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was predeceased by his parents.
A service in his memory will be held at the First Presbyterian Church of West Barnet on Saturday, December 17, 1983, at 3 P.M., officiated by Rev. Stan Blankenship. Burial will take place in the spring.
