Brownington, VT – Kristal May Willis, 40, died Friday, August 19, 2016, at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, Lebanon, NH, following a period of declining health.

She was born in Burlington, VT, and was the daughter of David L. and Sara B. (Reed) Willis.  Kristal attended St. Johnsbury Academy and Danville High School.  She enjoyed working in her flower and vegetable gardens and was an excellent cook who loved baking.  She also enjoyed raising and caring for her pets and animals.  She was always willing to lend a helping hand and care for someone in need.  Her children will remember her as being a very good Mother.

Survivors include three children, Felicia L. Chase and Haley Chase both of St. Johnsbury, and Kyle A. DeGreenia of Brownington; her parents, David L. and Sara B Willis of Barnet, VT;  her companion of six years, Terry DeGreenia of Brownington; three nephews Mikael, Max, and Carter Willis and two nieces, Samantha and Megan Austin;  aunts Shelley Farnsworth and Robin Willis, uncle Douglas Farnsworth, as well as cousins.  She was predeceased by her brother, Steven N. Willis on February 2, 2015.

Calling hours will be on Thursday, August 25th from 3 to 5 PM at Ricker Funeral Home, 1 Birch Street, Woodsville, NH.

Private burial will be observed at a later date in Blue Mt. Cemetery, Ryegate Corner, VT.
