North Haverhill, NH- Laura B. Golding, 90, formerly of Newbury, VT died at the Grafton County Nursing Home, North Haverhill, NH, on Monday, May 19, 2014. Laura was born in Muskegon, MI, on September 29, 1923, to William Kenneth and Minnie (Schmidt) Forester. Following her schooling, she worked for thirteen years as an accountant at the Shawmut Bank in Amherst, MA. She spent 25 years in south Texas before moving back to Vermont. Laura married William Bill Golding and he predeceased her on July 7, 1990. She is also predeceased by four sisters and two brothers. She is survived by two sons, William M. Golding, Jr. and wife Elizabeth of Conway, SC and Richard Rick Golding and wife Juanita of Newbury; two grandchildren; a brother, Arthur Forester, of Muskegon, MI; along with nieces, nephews, and cousins. At Laura s request, there will be no calling hours. A funeral service will be on Friday, July 18th, at 1 PM at the First Congregational Church of Newbury, 4915 Main Street South, Newbury, VT, with Rev. Kate Maver, officiating. Burial will be in the Townhouse Cemetery in Newbury at the convenience of the family.
