Lawrence "Larry" M. Demick, 63, Newbury, VT, died unexpectedly on Wednesday May 5, 2021.  He was born in Hanover, NH to Richard W. and Therecia "Rita" M. (Lindholm) Demick on March 27, 1958.  He graduated from Woodsville High School with the Class of 1976.

Larry went to work for Kimberly Clark in East Ryegate, VT for 23 years before working at Oakes Bros. in Bradford, VT for the past 15.  He married Ruth Emerson on April 2, 1976 at St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Woodsville.  He enjoyed target shooting, telling stories, and summer trips to Old Orchard Beach, ME.  Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially being Papa to his grandchildren.  Larry was always willing to help family and friends.   "Call me if you need anything," he would say time after time.

Larry is predeceased by his father, Richard W. on Dec. 21, 2018 and his mother, Therecia M. on July 11, 2011.  He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Ruth Demick of Newbury, VT; three daughters, Maureen Demick and her husband Dustin Taylor of Woodsville, NH, Kimberly LeBrun and her husband Nicholas of Woodsville, and Pamela Brochu and her husband John of Bradford, VT; six grandchildren, Austin, Grace, Ella, Leah, Otis, and Alice; a brother, Steven A. Demick and his wife Mary Louise of Medway, MA; as well as nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Services will be held privately.
