West Lebanon, NH- Leila Emory Baldwin, 78, of Dove Lane, died on Monday, November 9, 2015, at Alice Peck Day Hospital, Lebanon, NH, following a period of failing health. Leila was born in New York, NY, on February 10, 1937, to German H. H. and Katherine (Riegel) Emory. Leila lived in the Upper Valley area for many years. She was a devout Christian who loved her Lord Jesus. She enjoyed sharing her love of the Lord and handing out Bibles and Christian literature. She loved her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her four children, Gunnar Ives Baldwin, Jr. and wife Mary of Plymouth, NH, Rebecca Hutchinson Baldwin of Bath, NH, Timothy Sverdrup Baldwin of West Lebanon, and Emory Riegel Baldwin and wife Laura of Seattle, WA; nine grandchildren, Zachary, Molly, Graham, Timothy, Margaret, Charles, Samuel, Sophia, and Annika; a great grandson, Tyler; three siblings, Katherine Stookey and husband John, Lucy Ambach and husband Gordon, and Benjamin Emory and wife Diana; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. There will be no calling hours. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, November 17, at 1 PM, at Pine Knolls Cemetery, Hanover, NH.
