Lewis A Boutin, aged 80, of Benton, passed away after a period of failing health at the Grafton County Nursing Home in North Haverhill on Thursday, November 14, 2024. Born at Cottage Hospital in Woodsville on July 27, 1944, to John "Pete" and Iona (Mason) Boutin, Lewis attended public schools in Benton.

In 1968, Lewis joined the Army and served honorably until his discharge on December 24, 1969. Following his military service, he worked at DCI in Lisbon, where he remained until his retirement in 2000. Lewis was known for his love of hunting, fishing, playing horseshoes, and taking rides to spot deer.

He is predeceased by his parents, Pete and Iona Boutin; three brothers, Robert Boutin, Dale Boutin, and Ronnie Boutin; and a nephew, John Adam Boutin. Lewis is survived by his sister Judith Boutin of Woodsville; his brother Peter J. Boutin and his wife Robin of Catula, GA; sisters-in-law, April Boutin of Benton, and Annie Boutin of North Haverhill; and a special niece Kelley Roy of Bath.

In accordance with Lewis' wishes, there will be no public ceremony. He will be interred in the family lot in Benton.
