Lewis “Lewie” Wilkin, Jr., age 82 of Monroe, NH, passed away on September 7, 2026. He was born in Barre, VT, on July 5, 1944, to Lewis R. Wilkin, Sr., and Roberta Pilbro Wilkin. He graduated from Barre High School and went on to have a successful career in the automotive and motorcycle business. He enjoyed classic cars, boats, motorcycles and in his younger days he loved living and boating on Lake Winnipesaukee in Meredith, NH where he lived with his family for many years.

Lewie met his wife Jeanne in 1961, and they were married on May 14, 1966, and enjoyed 60+ years together.

He is survived by his wife Jeanne of Monroe; his son Chip, also of Monroe; a very special niece, Robin Kennedy of Athol, MA; his only grandson, Andre Wilkin of Franklin, NH; brothers-in-law, Garry Gerossie of Campton, NH and Larry Gerossie and his wife Betty, of Dunstable, MA; lifelong family friend, Chris Brennen, of Tyngsboro, MA; and many nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his loving puppy, Moosey.

He was predeceased by his parents and two sisters.

Services will be held at a later date.
