Hartford, VT Linda Jean Lamarre Beaulieu, 58, formerly of Bath, NH, died unexpectedly while traveling in San Juan, Puerto Rico on Thursday, February 28, 2013. She was born in Woodsville, NH, April 5, 1954, the daughter of Albert and Caroline (Tewksbury) Lamarre. Linda graduated from Woodsville High School, class of 1972, and Keene State Teaching College, class of 1976. She was presently working on her master s degree at the University of Vermont. Linda had been an English teacher at Stevens High School in Claremont, NH since 1984. Linda married George Beaulieu on July 10, 1982. She loved to travel, and traveled extensively to various parts of the world and visited 48 states. Linda enjoyed dancing. She loved her two dogs, Bagel and Eddie. She especially loved teaching at Stevens High School. She participated in all the activities at the school, from sporting events, special activities, and any activity including her kids (students). Linda had a special affection for her family. Her niece and nephew were very special to her and she always talked about their accomplishments as if they were her own children. She was a member of Ladies Auxiliary Unit #20, Ross-Wood Post of Woodsville, NH. Survivors include her husband of 30 years, George Beaulieu of Hartford, VT; her parents, Albert and Caroline (Tewksbury) Lamarre of Bath, NH; her sister, Mary Lamarre Gardner and husband Fredric Jr. of Bradford, VT; a very special niece, Cara L. Gardner of Bradford, VT; a very special nephew, Zackary W. Gardner and wife Emelene C. L. Bark of Washighton D.C.; very special cousins, Sarah Lee Tewksbury of Bath, NH and Bryan Santy of Lyman, NH; an uncle, Alfred Lamarre of Woodsville, NH, and several cousins. Calling hours will be on Monday, March 4, from 6 to 8 PM at the Ricker Funeral Home, 1 Birch Street, Woodsville, NH. A funeral service will be on Tuesday, March 5, at 11 AM at the Bath Congregational Church, Route 302, Bath, NH. Burial will held at the convenience of the family at the Bath Village Cemetery in the spring.
