North Haverhill, NH- Linda Simet Klein, 63, of Clark Pond Road, died suddenly on Friday, January 28, 2011 at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center. Linda was born in New York City on March 21, 1947. She was a graduate of the University of Vermont and continued her education by earning her Masters Degree in Nursing from Pace University and a Masters Degree in Public Health from Columbia University. Linda served as the Assistant Director of Nursing at Kendall in Hanover, NH and at Valley Terrace in Norwich, VT. She was a former director of Access Rx in Lebanon, NH. Since 2008 she has served as the staff development director at the Grafton County Nursing Home in North Haverhill. Linda and her husband Bruce, to whom she was married on June 23, 1968, moved to the North Haverhill area in December 2003 from Pound Ridge, NY. Her favorite pastime was spending time with her family and grandchildren. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Bruce Klein of North Haverhill, her daughter Vanessa Allen and husband Andy and grandchildren Madeleine and Charles Allen all of North Haverhill. Calling hours will be Thursday, February 3, 2011, from 5-8 PM, at the family s home at 1047 Clark Pond Road in North Haverhill. A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to the humane society of one s choice.
