Peacham, VT - Linda Alida Morrison, 68, died Thursday, August 27, 2015, at the Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital, St. Johnsbury, VT. She was born in St. Johnsbury, May 21, 1947, the daughter of Charles A. and Iris (Cooley) Morrison. Linda graduated from Peacham Academy, Class of 1966, and for many years worked as a companion for the elderly so they could continue to live at home. Linda was a member of The Presbyterian Church of Barnet at West Barnet. She enjoyed reading, hand work, watching children, and animals. She had enjoyed traveling, particularly by train and bus. Family gatherings were very special to her. Survivors include her parents, Charles and Iris Morrison of Peacham, four brothers, Reginald Morrison and wife Wanda of, Lenexa, Kansas, Richard Morrison and wife Valerie of Craftsbury, VT, Leslie Morrison and wife Melody of Peacham, and Edgar Morrison of Peacham; along with several nieces and nephews, and cousins. There will be no calling hours. A memorial service will be on Thursday, September 17, at 11 AM at The Presbyterian Church of Barnet at West Barnet, 279 West Main Street, West Barnet, VT, with Rev. Dr. Howard Gaston officiating. Burial will be in the Peacham Village Cemetery, Peacham, following the service.
