Monroe, NH – Linda (Cullen) Soucy passed away on Monday, September 18, 2023, at the age of 72 in the loving arms of her husband. She held her ground for as long as she could to be with family until the cancer became too much to overcome. Linda was on hospice at her son Zachary's home and was surrounded by family.

She was born in Monmouth, NJ, the daughter of Lorette (Bourque) and Kenneth Cullen. She grew up in Manchester, NH, and graduated from Goffstown High School. She met and married her first husband Thomas Felong and divorced. She then moved to Asbury Park, NJ, living there for several years when on a chance meeting at a family wedding in St. Louis, MO, she met a good friend of her brothers, Guy. The attraction was immediate and soon afterwards she returned to Manchester where they continued their relationship and fell deeply in love. They were married on November 16, 1979. Soon after they moved to Keene, NH, where they raised their two boys Zachary and Jason. After retirement they moved to Monroe, NH.

Linda loved people and would fondly reminisce of her time waitressing at the Stone Pony where she met some of music industry greats and the long-time friends she made with co-workers and customers while waitressing and managing at Henry David restaurant in Keene. Later she worked at Keene State College bookstore, again making new friends, and enjoyed assisting the students. Everyone liked her and everyone had a Linda story.

Family was Linda's primary focus and she always kept them in sight. She made every effort to attend and support any activities the boys were involved in. She was not shy to speak her mind. She loved family gatherings and cooking holiday meals for everyone, always ready to help. During her free time Linda loved to knit. She made many afghans giving them to family members to keep them warm on those cold nights. Every grandchild has one of grammy's blankets. Her flower garden was another of her passions, always making sure that the front walkway looked gorgeous.

Linda will be remembered by the many people she touched. She leaves behind her loving husband of 44 years, Guy Soucy; her two sons and their families, Dr. Zachary Soucy his wife Elizabeth and their children Phineas and Isla, and Jason Soucy his wife Jennifer and their children Jackson and Gabriel; her brothers, Kenneth Cullen and his wife Janene, and Richard Cullen and his wife Lyndi; her sister-in-law Carmel Pawlowski and her husband Tom; her brother-in-law Michael Soucy and his wife Linda; her nieces, Sarene Parlier and husband Aaron, Elizabeth Liverpool and husband Michael, and Ashley Dixon and husband Matt; her nephews, Cameron Cullen and wife Alyssa, Fr. Charles Pawlowski, Michael Pawlowski, and Joshua Soucy and wife Samantha.

There will be a celebration of her life in the near future at the family's convenience.
