Groton, VT- Lisa Ann Huyler, 34, of Scott Highway, died unexpectedly at her home on Friday, January 30, 2015. Lisa was born in Hackensack, NJ, on April 2, 1980, to Thomas K. and Sharon (Haycook) Huyler. She graduated from Montville Township High School. While living in New Jersey, Lisa was employed as a dental assistant. In 2012, she relocated to Groton from Hackensack. She enjoyed baking, caring for her cats, and doing handwork and crafts. She especially loved family life. She is survived by her son, Cam Thomas Rivera of Groton; her parents, Thomas and Sharon Huyler of Groton; her companion, Cam S. Rivera of Groton; her brother, Robert J. Huyler and Melissa of West Springfield, MA; her paternal grandmother, Helen (Ahlbrand) Huyler of Mt. Top, PA; three uncles, Robert J. Haycook of Groton, James A. Huyler of South Shore, KY and David R. Huyler of Mt. Top, PA; along with several cousins. A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 6th, from 3 to 5 PM at the First Baptist Church of Groton, 1115 Scott Highway, Groton, with Pastor Dennis Walton, officiating.
