Bradford, VT – Lorraine Johnson, 92, died peacefully Saturday, June 16, 2018, at Genesis Eldercare, Lebanon, NH.

She was born May 15, 1926, in Lebanon, NH, a daughter of Joseph A. and Lillian M. (Cota) Considine, and graduated from Lebanon High School, Class of 1944.

She married Henning R. Johnson on October 30, 1944 and they raised their family in Bradford.  Lorraine was a communicant of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, and former president of the Holy Family Society.  She enjoyed reading, cooking, canning and freezing, and was known as an excellent seamstress.  In later years Lorraine enjoyed putting together jigsaw puzzles and continued her avid lifelong enjoyment of books.

She was predeceased by her husband Henning, in October 2013, four children, Wesley, Thomas, Susan, and Stephen and two sisters, Anna Clark and Kathleen Sullivan.

Surviving family includes three children, Arvid and wife Pamela of Bradford, Ronald  and wife Debbie of Clifton Park, NY and Richard of Elizabethtown, NY; seven grandchildren, Sean, Lynne, Christine, Nathan, Sven, Erik and Jeremiah, and eleven great grandchildren; a sister-in-law Elin Batten and husband Russell of West Topsham, VT, along with many nieces and nephews.

There will be no calling hours.

A graveside service will be on Saturday, June 23rd at 11 AM in the Sawyer Cemetery, Bradford, VT, with Father Oliver Saligan as celebrant.
