Bath, NH- Louine M. (Tene) Knighton/Lackie, 94, passed away on Friday, Dec 8, 2023, at the Grafton County Nursing Home.

She was born December 21st, 1928, to Perley A. Knighton Sr and Bertha B. (Hutchins) Knighton.

She married James C. Lackie Sr December 31st, 1947, and they enjoyed snowmobiling, traveling, eating out, and visiting friends, until his passing on October 17th, 2003.

She was predeceased by her brothers; Madison Boemig and Perley A. Knighton Jr, and sisters Gertrude Mitchell, and twin sister Lorraine Seluke. Also, by son-in-laws Roy A. Willey and Earl Sherman.

She is survived by a daughter, Karen L. Sherman, and grandchildren Sandra Adams, Roy A Willey Jr, Beth Sherman, Lisa Sherman, and Laurie Sherman Gomez. Also, her son James C. Lackie Jr, wife Betty, and son Michael J. Lackie. She was loved by many great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

There will be a private graveside service held in the spring.
