Haverhill, NH Louise Nelson Rand, 92, died on Monday, November 2, 2009 at the Grafton County Nursing Home, North Haverhill, NH. Louise was born in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, February 24, 1917, the daughter of Samuel and Bertha (Bailey) Nelson. Louise married Philip S. Rand in November, 1935. Louise had a passion for cats and feline collectables. She was predeceased by her husband Philip S. Rand on November 27, 1995. Survivors include her daughter, Louise Rand Harrison of Houston, TX; a step daughter, Mary Rand Angulo of Hyannis, MA; nine grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. There will be no calling hours. Funeral service will be on Monday, November 9, at 11 AM, at the Ricker Funeral Home, 1 Birch Street, Woodsville, NH, with Rev. David Pruitt officiating. Burial will be at the Ladd Street Cemetery, Haverhill, NH. Light refreshments will follow at the First Haverhill Congregational Church of Haverhill Parish Hall.
