Barnet, VT Margaret Lilla Strobridge Card, 93, died May 26, 2008 at the Lafayette Center, Franconia, NH, following an extended illness. She was born in West Barnet, VT, December 9, 1914, the daughter of John Hinds and Bernice (Conant) Strobridge. Margaret was a member of The Presbyterian Church of Barnet at West Barnet and had been an active member of both the St. James Episcopal Church and the Greenfield Chorus in Greenfield, MA. She enjoyed her home, cooking, and gardening. She was predeceased by her husband John Robertson Card on March 31, 2000, and a brother William Hinds Strobridge. Survivors include a daughter Cheryl C. Tutt of Weathersfield, VT; two sons Jeffrey W. Card of Ferndale, MD, and Timothy S. Card of North Haverhill, NH; four grandchildren John Cyriel Card, Thomas Matthew Card, Michael John Tutt, and Christopher Alan Tutt, as well as her great grandchildren, Christopher Alan Tutt, Jr., Jordan Michael Tutt, and Savannah Julia Tutt; and Jon Anthony Passaretti, and several nieces and nephews. There will be no calling hours. A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 30, 2008, at 10 AM, at The Presbyterian Church of Barnet at West Barnet, VT, with Rev. Lynn Burgess officiating.
