Barnet , VT- Margaret J. "Peg" (Streeter) Flanagan St. Lawrence , 90, died unexpectedly on January 2, 2016, at Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital , St. Johnsbury , VT.

Peg was born in Newbury, VT, on August 31, 1925, to Earl and Mabel (Chamberlain) Streeter.

Peg worked as a floor manager for Electroweld in Hawthorne , NJ . She was an accomplished seamstress. In 2003, she moved from Fairlawn , NJ to Barnet. She was a member and deacon at The Presbyterian Church of Barnet at West Barnet . She enjoyed playing the organ and was a member of the Organ Club of America. Peg loved her family and her faith. In her spare time, she enjoyed crossword puzzles and playing solitaire. She loved her cats and dogs.

Peg married Hugh C. Flanagan on October 31, 1942 and he predeceased her on December 31, 1971. She married Harold St. Lawrence and he predeceased her, also. Along with her husbands, she was predeceased by a son, William J. Flanagan in 2006, and by several siblings.

She is survived by two sons, Thomas J. Flanagan and wife, Frances of Barnet and Rev. Hugh C. Flanagan, Jr. and wife, Joanne of Newark, DE; nine grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Calling hours will be Wednesday, January 6, 2016, from 3-6 PM at Ricker Funeral Home, 1 Birch Street , Woodsville , NH .

A funeral service will be on Thursday, January 7 at 11 AM at Ricker Funeral Home with Rev. Hugh C. Flanagan, III, Peg's grandson, officiating.

Burial will be in the spring in the Walter Harvey Cemetery .
