North Haverhill, NH- Marie M. Bryer, 95, formerly of Woodsville, NH, died on Sunday, October 21, 2018, at the Grafton County Nursing Home, North Haverhill, NH.

Marie was born in Boston, MA on January 16, 1923, to Thomas and Ella (Dorrer) Leonard.

Marie graduated from Antrim High School in Antrim, NH.  She married Albert Edward Bryer on February 20, 1946.  Al predeceased her on May 24, 2004.

Marie worked for over 20 years at Chamberlin's Greenhouse in Woodsville.  She was an active member of the St. Joseph's Catholic Church and Women's Club.  She taught Catechism class for 39 years.

Marie loved gardening, flowers, birds and animals.  She was also an extremely talented artist.  Her love of the natural world was surpassed only by her joy in loving others.  She will be deeply missed by all who were touched by her kind and generous heart.

Marie was predeceased by her brother, Thomas Leonard.

She is survived by her son, Thomas A. Bryer and wife Madge Rossinoff of Peacham, VT; four grandchildren, Christopher Bryer and wife Liz, Justin Bryer and fiancé Julie, Henry Harris, and Anna Bohnengel and husband Barrett; four great grandchildren, Harland Bryer, Marshall Bryer, Louise Martha-Harris, and Oliver Bohnengel; a sister in law, Patricia Leonard of Antrim, NH; and a nephew, John Leonard and a niece Danni Leonard.

There will be no calling hours.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Wednesday, October 24, at 1 PM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church, 15 Pine Street, Woodsville, NH.

Burial will follow at the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Bath, NH.
