Wells River, VT- Marilyn S. Jasmin, 79, of Grove Street, died at her home on Wednesday, February 25, 2015. Marilyn was born in Fall River, MA on February 7, 1936, to James and Martha (Waldren) Scholes. She was a graduated from both St. Patrick s Grammar School and St. Anne s Dominican Academy, and from the nursing program at St. Anne s Hospital, of Fall River. Marilyn worked as a Registered Nurse at St. Anne s and then at Leonard Morse Hospital, Natick, MA. On June 29, 1957, she married George Jasmin. In the early 1970 s, Marilyn and George moved to Ryegate Corner, VT where they resided until the mid 1970 s when they moved to Wells River. Marilyn was a communicant of St. Eugene s Catholic Church in Wells River. She was a former member of WRAP, also in Wells River. Marilyn was a donor to numerous religious charities over the years. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, George Jasmin of Wells River; a sister, Maureen Pobzeznik of Swansea, MA; a niece, Cheryl Ann Davis and husband William of Somerset, MA and their children, James and Kayleigh; a nephew, John Pobzeznik of Swansea and his son, Daniel; a cousin Barbara Scholes, along with dear family friends, Rachel Baker and husband Nelson of Ryegate Corner and Patricia Roy and husband Philip of Woodsville, NH. A memorial mass will be held at St. Eugene s Catholic Church, 10 Center Street, Wells River, VT on Saturday, April 18th, at 10 AM.
