Easton, NH -- Marion Ruth Hopp, 86, died on Sunday, June 26, 2011 at the Grafton County Nursing Home in North Haverhill, NH. She was born in Norwalk, CT, March 1, 1925, the daughter of Wallace H. and Phoebe (Husted) Bell. Marion married David Hopp on September 14, 1946. She worked as the cafeteria manager for Central Catholic High School in Norwalk for many years. Marion retired in 1984 and moved from Norwalk to Easton. She enjoyed handwork, crocheting, knitting, reading, card playing, and cooking. Her family was the center of her life. Marion entered Grafton County Nursing Home in August 2006. She was predeceased by her husband, David Hopp on August 1986. She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Hopp of Easton, NH; two sons, David Hopp and wife Isabella of East Norwalk, CT and Richard Hopp and wife Carolyn of Bath, NH; 8 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be on Thursday, June 30 from 5 to 7 PM at the Ricker Funeral Home, 1 Birch Street, Woodsville, NH. The funeral service will be on Friday, July 1, at 11 AM, at Ricker Funeral Home, with Rev. Dr. Donald Thomas officiating. Burial will follow at the Kinsman Cemetery in Easton, NH.
